Since the last workshop in November of 2009, I have been getting calls and emails from photographers in Calgary, Edmonton, Europe…. ”Andras, Andras when is your next workshop?” There is so many projects for this year that I thought I would not do a workshop until October or November this year. I had no idea how many people have enjoyed these workshops and are looking to come back for more! I had people who took my workshop twice in a row and they still want to learn more. It is so exciting to know that they appreciate all the hard work I put into each and every workshop. It is a fantastic feeling to be a part of some ones education and knowing that my workshops make a difference. Giving you the confidence and creative energy to make it on your own. Looking back at the last not even 2 years, I have done 15 workshops around the world from Turks & Caicos to Europe, Hungary & Amsterdam, back here in Calgary. Over 180 people have now taken these workshops.
This years workshops are going to be super special, different environments, places & locations lots of new suppliers on board again from the photography industry, guest speakers as always show casing some amazing local talent! I have also this year been invited to take part as a guest speaker around the world. At the end of this year a new website truly dedicated to these workshops are in the making…..and a super cool workshop coming up in November with my good friend and super talent Edward Ross. The place none other than the Big Apple, yes NEW YORK!!!
For the Calgary workshops the tuition is the same $1250 for the 3 days, including a studio shoot, outside shoot and class room studies. To reserve your spot please email me from the website, to secure your spot a $250 deposit is required. Class size is limited to a maximum of 15 people or less, so dont wait to long! The November class in 2009 filled up in less than a week.

The L B W (Light Blender Workshops) is a new series of workshop starting in 2010. This series is based on the same principle as the very popular wedding photography workshops that I have presented all over the world.
The wedding photography workshops have been a hit, 13 workshops over 180 people in less than 1.5 years…places like the Caribbean (did you know I trained the Sandals (Beaches) resort photographers!? Europe / Hungary and Amsterdam, in the making Spain, Sweden and Greece. A fantastic workshop coming up also with a good friend a fellow photographer Edward Ross in NEW YORK! L B W is based on the concept that I create a special atmosphere with my clients, with just a SLS single light source I create magic in a very short time. You will learn how to do this and you will also learn how to create the after effects in a classroom with post processing, actions and filters / textures! You have to understand that by learning how to deal with your clients in a setting like this, will form you to better understand wedding photography as a whole. You are going to be dealing with people, lots of them. Yet you have to create that atmosphere in such a short time and under stressed conditions, than present your work in front of a crowd. Your work starts by knowing your clients inside out and being so confident in what you do, that no one and no situation can shake you.

“May the Light be with you”

I am currently working on a book. The Book Of Tattoo’s. Here are a few sample images from a series that I shot at my studio. The way I see it this project will take me a couple of months, adding more and more to it….so if you know someone that has some major tattoo work and is willing to pose for me, let me know! Race, age, size does not matter. In this series, 2 fantastic couples, I like to say thank you to, Layton & Niki, Raymond & Mindy….you guys were fantastic!

Its been a super busy season and with so many new and continuous requests here is another one of those great Workshops, this year has been fantastic, I had no idea that so many are so eager and willing to learn.
3 workshops in Calgary and 4 workshops in Europe and the 5th in Amsterdam…with now more possibilities in Spain, Sweden and Greece! The last of the year here in Calgary from the 13th to the 15th of November with some great stuff coming up!
The class is almost full and remember its only limited to am max size of 12 so everyone has ample opportunities to shoot, ask questions and learn!
The workshop as always $1250.00 plus Gst/person for the 3 days. $250.00 reserves your spot (only a few left)…SO DONT WAIT!
